“When I first considered the idea of sending my child to daycare, I felt an overwhelming sense of pressure and anxiety. I was deeply concerned about what his daily experience would be like, especially as a first-time mom. I questioned whether I was making the right decision for his safety and happiness. However, as with many blessings in life, we often don’t realize how impactful they are until we actually receive them. When I called Children’s Discovery Daycare, they responded promptly and professionally. They arranged a tour at my convenience, and I brought my son, Lamajai, along. Despite his initial discomfort and tears, the staff was incredibly gentle and attentive. They comforted him with soothing words and gestures, and reassured me that he would be well cared for. They emphasized that my son, Lamajai, was safe, happy, and loved, which eased my worries. I felt an immediate sense of trust, knowing I could entrust my most precious gift to them. Since Lamajai started at Children’s Discovery, I’ve seen remarkable growth. He has learned to count, identify colors, and develop fine motor skills through engaging activities. He now interacts confidently with other children during playtime and looks forward to seeing his teachers each day. I can’t praise his teachers enough—every one of them is dedicated, patient, and nurturing. I am especially grateful for Teacher Gloria, who gently reassured me and made me feel at ease, saying, “That’s my little man,” with a warm smile as Lamajai lights up when he see her and wave excitedly. I also appreciate Teacher Brianna, who regularly updates me on Lamajai’s progress, sharing feedback and providing helpful resources for us to support his development at home. As a parent, I believe that nobody hands you a manual; you learn as you go. Luckily, Children’s Discovery offers valuable resources and guidance on positive parenting techniques, helping to raise well-rounded children without resorting to harsh discipline. I am genuinely thankful for the dedicated staff at Children’s Discovery and their unwavering patience and skill working with kids. Every day, I see children leaving the school with bright smiles and eager anticipation, which gives me an immense sense of comfort and peace of mind. I trust that the staff are truly caring for our children, and I pray that God blesses this daycare abundantly as they continue to watch over our beloved children while we are away at work or engaged in daily routines.
