6:30–7:15 Free-play in the toddler classroom.
7:15–8:30 Quiet activities: puzzles, coloring, manipulative toys, etc.
8:30–9:00 Handwashing and breakfast.
9:00–9:30 Large group: letter of the week, calendar, explanation of the day, and language activities.
Bathroom break and handwashing.
9:30–10:15 Gym or outside.
10:15–10:30 Large group: language activities.
10:30–10:45 Handwashing and morning snack.
10:45–11:45 Small Groups: Teachers work with children in small groups offering more individualized attention. During this time, there will be three small groups.
Creative group: learning activities related to the theme of the day.
Discovery group: learning activities geared toward cognitive and manipulative levels of children.
Free choice group: dramatic play area, science area, blocks, sensory, language experiences, books, manipulative, cognitive toys, etc.
11:45 – 12:00 Large group: star of the week, music, weather, and review of the day.
12:00 – 12:20 Handwashing and lunch.
12:20 – 12:45 Transition activity, bathroom break, and handwashing.
12:45 – 3:00 Nap/rest time.
3:00 – 3:15 Bathroom, handwashing and afternoon snack.
3:15 – 4:00 Gym or outside.
4:00 – 4:20 Large group: language activity.
4:20 – 5:00 Discovery time.
5:00 – 5:45 Free-play and room clean-up.
5:45 – 6:00 Quiet activities in toddler classroom.
