7:00-8:30  Free choice activities which includes: process art, manipulatives, puzzles, sensory table, limited computer time.

8:30-9:00  Hand washing and breakfast.

9:00-9:30  Large group: theme of the day & vocabulary.

9:30-10:30  Centers: listening, math/science, creative art, sensory, writing. Additional projects were children work at their own pace to complete projects, activities and games.

10:30-10:45  Hand washing and morning snack.

10:45 – 11:00  Teacher reading.

11:00 – 11:50  Free choice activities.

11:50 – 12:00  Daily review.

12:00 – 12:30  Hand washing and lunch.

12:30 – 1:15  Large muscle development: outdoor playground or indoor gym.

1:15 – 1:40  Quiet time: books, mats, and DEAR (Drop Everything And Read).

1:40 – 2:00  Large group & sharing time.

2:00 – 3:00  Journaling & table tops: games (card and board), math, puzzles, small group work.

3:00 – 3:30  Music and movement.

3:30 – 4:00  Hand washing and afternoon snack.

4:00 – 4:45  Free choice.

4:45 – 5:15  Large muscle development: outdoor playground or indoor gym.

5:45 – 6:00  Quiet activities in the Preschool classroom.

8:50-8:55  Backpack and coat check, bus pickup.

Afternoon Schedule

4:00-4:30  Bus drop-off, hand washing and snack. Homework help, reading, art activity, games, puzzles, free choice activities.

5:00-5:45  Group, review of the day, teacher reading.

5:45 – 6:00  Quiet activities in the Preschool classroom.
