We love CDA!
“My husband and I toured 3 other daycares before settling on Children’s Discovery Academy in Little Canada. Even from the parking lot the place made a great first impression; the day we toured was warm and summery, and kids were out in their backyard playing in a sprinkler–so fun! Since then we’ve continued to be impressed. CDA is welcoming and inviting, and the teachers and staff are amazing. The building used to be an elementary school so the rooms are large and classroom sized, and they have huge windows that let in lots of light. My son is in the infant room, and the windows look out onto a forest which makes for a really beautiful and peaceful atmosphere. CDA also has amazing teachers. Out of all the places we toured, the lead teacher at CDA in the infant room was the only one that went out of her way to introduce herself to us. We really appreciated how personal that was. Like many of the staff, she has also been working at CDA for many years and is an expert in childcare, and the staff that take care of my lil guy spoil him! 🙂 He smiles at all the teachers in his room and I can tell he’s really comfortable with them. My husband and I are researchers and I was originally looking for a daycare with a curriculum, but that became less important after we toured CDA. They may not have a structured curriculum, but they engage kids in a variety of activities to help with their cognitive and social-emotional development. Also, one of my favorite features about CDA is they use an app to track my son throughout the day, so I can log-in to the app from my phone and see when he has eaten, napped, etc. By far my favorite part of the app is receiving pictures of my son throughout the day, and also being able to send messages back and forth with the staff. The app is awesome! Overall, we’ve been very impressed and satisfied with CDA, and highly recommend it! :)”
